Call for Abstract

The Association of Nigerian Private Medical Practitioners (ANPMP) cordially invites medical professionals, researchers, policymakers, and industry stakeholders to submit abstracts for the 48th Annual Conference, Golden City 2026, to be held from April 20 to April 26, 2025, in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. This year’s conference, themed “Enhancing Healthcare Delivery in Nigeria: The Role of Private Medical Practitioners,” aims to explore how partnerships between the government and private practitioners can drive transformation in the Nigerian healthcare sector.

Conference Sub-Themes

We invite submission that provide evidence-based insight and innovative solutions within the following thematic areas:

  1. Innovative Approaches to Patient Care: Advancing clinical excellence and best Practices in private medical practice. 
  2. Addressing the Burden of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs): Strategic interventions, preventions and management within the private sector. 
  3. Sustainable Growth and Development: Evaluating business models, financial sustainability, and institutional scaling for private healthcare providers. 
  4. Quality, Safety, and Standard: Strengthening clinical governance and patient safety standards in Nigerian healthcare.

 

Submission Guidelines:

To ensure rigorous peer-review, all submission must adhere to the following:

  • Word Count: Abstract must be between 250-300 words (excluding title and affiliations).
  • Structure: Submission should follow the standard format: Title, Author, Affiliations, Background/Objective, Methods, Results and Conclusion.
  • Language: All submission must be in English
  • Originality: Work must be original and not previously published in a peer-reviewed journal.


Important Dates:

  • Submission Deadline: February 15, 2026
  • Notification of Acceptance: March 15, 2026
  • Conference Date: April 22 – 26, 2026

 

Why Submit?

Authors may indicate their preferred format; however, the Scientific Committee reserve the right to make the final determination:
Oral Presentation : A 10-20 minutes power point presentation followed by a Q&A session.
Poster Presentation: Visual display research during designated gallery sessions.
